FIELD STAFF SPECIALIST

We are seeking a motivated and highly personable individual to join our Delaware County Member & Satisfaction team (M/FST). The position involves interviewing people regarding their experience with behavioral health services as well as participation in reporting the results.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
    • Personal experience with behavioral health services (mental health and/or drug and alcohol) in Delaware County for self or family member.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong communication and note-taking skills
    • Knowledgeable of behavioral health services and supports as well as recovery, resiliency and person/family-centered principles.
    • Previous experience working as part of a team – preferred
    • Intermediate-advanced skills in Microsoft Word, email and internet use
    • Drivers License and a car with current registration and insurance

The position is approximately 10-20 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Hours will increase during busy periods and will include some evenings or Saturdays. Travel for training and site visits is reimbursed.

COLLEGE PLUS COORDINATOR

We are seeking a motivated and highly personable individual who will oversee the operations of the Voice and Vision, Inc. College Plus Program. The role requires strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage the peer support component. Peer support includes facilitating support groups, providing individual supports, and cultivating creative solutions to break down barriers to help students attending college. The role includes administrative tasks, such as maintaining a database of students, tracking student progress, documenting communication, and marketing to promote the program.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Lived experience and is in recovery from mental health or co-occurring challenges
    • Good communication skills (written, verbal and body language) with the ability to maintain confidential information
    • Attended college or currently attending college
    • Cultural proficiency and sensitivity to the unique strengths and values held by each student
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Supervisory experience preferred, but not required

The position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week). Individual must have a car, current driver’s license, and car insurance.

COLLEGE PLUS SUPPORT GROUP CO-FACILITATOR

We are seeking a Support Group Co-Facilitator is to assist with the College Plus Peer Support Groups. This person would be required to help engage and facilitate discussion with College Plus students during support group meetings. The ideal candidate would be educated on services offered at Bucks County Community College as well as supports and services in the community. This person would also be a good role model and cheerleader to the students.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE
    • Certified Peer Specialist OR has had Peer-to-Peer Training (or willingness to attend training)
    • Knowledge of which situations require a professional referral
    • Attended college or currently attending college
    • Cultural proficiency and sensitivity to the unique strengths and values held by each student

The position is part-time (2-5 hours per week). Individual must have a car, current driver’s license, and car insurance.
